My First Bridal Show!

From Audra, the No Worries Itern:

Back in August, I attended my first bridal show at Germain Arena, and let me just say that it was amazing! I had the great opportunity to help out Shari Bare Photography, and it was such a pleasure to work with Shari and her fiance/assistant Sean!

Agreeing to work the bridal show I had no idea what to expect. I knew that there would be vendors from all over who were going to set up booths displaying their products but I had no clue how elaborate these booths would be!!! There were flowers everywhere, food, videos playing, and even a fashion show towards the end of the bridal show! It was incredible!

On an even more personal note, and to all of you brides out there, if you still have some aspects of your wedding that are still up in the air, these shows can help you figure out what to do. Brides, grooms, friends, and family members all have the ability to talk to many professionals in the wedding/event industry, you are able to meet them on a personal level, and see their work.

For those who are planning on attending a bridal show, let me try to offer a word of advice - have fun! I heard from several brides that they were overwhelmed and that is understandable because there is so much information to take it and planning a wedding is a stressful experience. (hint: No Worries can help you with that) Just enjoy the show as much as you can, and take it all in. You will be taking home plenty of information, and that's a great thing. This way you can go home and review that information again and again.

(Note from Kelly: That's why after attending a bridal show, if you are overwhelmed, call No Worries Weddings to help you sort through all info and brochures and help you choose the best vendors for your style & budget! And we will be at a couple shows in 2009. Stay tuned for details and dates!)
